The Belgian Federal Public Service of Mobility and Transport and its Dutch equivalent have sent a warning to the European Commission about the Turkish airline ‘Fly Air.’

The so called "early warning" has been submitted because Fly Air blatantly violates safety regulations and other rules. The company was caught in the act of filling the fuel-tank with kerosene while there were passengers on board and defects were discovered in the hold.

In addition, landing rights were not paid on time and the language ability of the crew not up to scratch. The Federal Service regards the problems mentioned as characteristic of the faulty organisation at Fly Air.

By putting Fly Air on the early warning list, Belgium can now intensify inspections of the airline company.
