Hello, and welcome back to another edition of American Dissident Voices, the Internet radio program of North America's foremost racialist organization, the National Alliance. I'm your host and the Chairman of the Alliance, Erich Gliebe.
Well, what with the AIG fiasco taking up all of the headline space and the television news program time lately, it seems that there hasn't been much room for anything else of interest with regard to national news. Sure, the economy continues to gasp along, more people are getting permanently laid off, and everyone is worried about keeping bread on the table. But, as if all of these day-to-day issues aren't enough to worry about, there is something else that is happening on the national scene that should concern those of us who are intent on securing a future of peace and prosperity for the White race.
The "something else" that I am referring to is the renewed campaign to essentially disarm law-abiding Americans or, failing that, to induce American gun owners to become outlaws -- that is, criminals. The campaign's latest assault comes in the form of two pieces of legislation One is Bill H.R. 45, "Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009," and the other is the so-called "Ammunition Accountability Act." Today, I will talk a little about these two pieces of anti-American legislation and their implications for the future.
The Blair Holt bill derives its name from a young man in Chicago, Blair Holt, who was killed in a gang-related bus shooting in May of 2007. In response to this event, Illinois Representative Bobby Rush introduced the bill to Congress later in 2007. No action was taken on the bill at the time, but Representative Rush re-introduced it in January of this year as H.R. 45.
